W elcome to the Blue Knights International Motorcycle Club, Chapter XII Website. We are the newest Blue Knight Chapters in South Texas. Although our charter is registered in Helotes Texas, outskirts of West San Antonio, Bexar County, most members live in the greater San Antonio Area. This site represents our little corner of the World Wide Web! Chapter XII is a non-profit, fraternal law enforcement motorcycle club, composed of 29 original charter members and 37 members overall presently, but with 3 other brothers in their application stages. The Blue Knights number 17,726 since May 24, 2005, with many more members in 21 countries worldwide and still growing, plus one new chapter possibly coming on line soon, in the country of Slovenia. Texas Chapter XII is the newest Chapter under the regional Rio Grande Conferrence which comprises 973 members, within 35 RGC Chapters within Texas and Arkansas. We celebrate the fact that we are 1 of 11 conferrences. Chapter XII acknowledges and are grateful to our brothers from Blue Knights Texas Chapter XXI for their support and guidance, helping us realize our dream, i.e; the establishment of Chapter XII. We also acknowledge Chapter XXI's President and RGC Co-Chairman, Ken Reeves and RGC Chairnman Chuck Doran. So come on in everyone, and check us out! We're relatively new, but ever growing. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and will consider joining us, ever Riding with Pride as we continue to do. Our chapter goals are aligned with those of Blue Knights International and the Rio Grande Conferrence. We remain committed to the service for our Communities, the less fortunate, the Great State of Texas, and our beloved Country. We are a proud Law Enforcement, family-oriented organization composed of Officers from various agencies such as Schertz Police, Fair Oaks Ranch Police, San Antonio Police, Bexar County Sheriff's Department, Sterling Bank, Bexar County Adult Probation, Selma Police Department and the United States Military who collectively enjoy the sport of motorcycling and sharing a unique bond of brotherhood and strong belief in God. Chapter XII maintains a close relationship with other Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, i.e; 99%er Motorcycle Clubs and the community being active participants in the South West Texas 99%er Coalition, designed to bring LE motorcycle brothers together to share ideas, information, philosophies, events, charities, and above all having fun on motorcycles as we realize our goals. WE ARE HERE TO SERVE! Currently 90% of our members are full-time law enforcement professionals, with moral support from the San Antonio Police Officer's Association, the San Antonio Hispanic Police Officer's Organization, and the great patrons at Leon's Ice House. The Mission Road Developmental Center, home of Texas' disabled kids and young adults, is our annual adopted Christmas Event, who's residents we've adopted as Official Super Duper Honorary "Blue Knightz Kidz!" Additionally Chapter XII is associated with the first Blue Knight Blues, Jazz, Oldies, and Rock Band called the "Bluez Knightz" which will be featured on this website with audio and video clips added for your enjoyment later on. "Bluez Knights" has amoung it's member/musicians, Chapter XII members Wild Bill and River Rat, plus others from the San Antonio Police Department. Welcome everyone! This is an exciting time! Won't you join us or just check out our calendar and come out to ride with us? We're looking forward to hearing from you! The Blue Knight Pledge
As a Blue Knight, I pledge to act with honor and pride, to promote motorcycling and motorcycling safety by being an example of the safe use, operation, and enjoyment of motorcycles. I will work at all times to improve the relationship between the motorcycling law enforcement community and the general public. The fraternal spirit will always guide me in relating to other Blue Knights. "
